Usborne Books has created yet another Sticker Dolly Dressing book that girls will love! With Sticker Dolly Dressing Fashion Long Ago, girls will love learning about the fashions throughout time while dressing people from different time periods. Time periods include: Ancient Egypt, Ancient Rome, Ancient China, Medieval Times, Spain in the 1500s, France in the 1770s, England in the 1800's, Victorian Times, England in the 1920's, America in the 1950's, and London in the 1960's. For home schoolers, especially those who follow the "classical style curriculum", this is a great way to introduce the dress as you go through your history lessons.
My daughter LOVES all the Sticker Dolly Dressing books. In this one she thought it particularly funny how the guys dressed. That's another thing that sets this Sticker Dolly book apart from the rest. It includes men and boys of the time eras to dress. Once she had everyone in each era dressed in their appropriate attire, she then had a blast dressing them in all sorts of silly outfits from different time eras and mixing and matching the eras. She really had a lot of fun with this.

This is a very interesting activity for girls aged 6 to 8. This enhances creativity and greater sense femininity as well. I'll get a copy the soonest!
Roxie, I never thought about it enhancing femininity. You are so right! Girls need femine things. I go to many schools and I am amazed at how the girls dress nowadays. You can't even tell they are girls!
Also, I have seen girls as old as 10 and 11 enjoy these Sticker Dolly books.
